Where is the Head Office of Anaconda Stores?

   Had the mis-fortune today of visiting the Anaconda Store in Bagot Road, Darwin for the simple task of refilling a 9KG gas bottle. Having telephoned ahead to ascertain the availability of gas I visited the store.
   Advising the cashier of my needs she told me they would not fill my gas bottle because it was raining and they won’t fill gas in the rain. I assured her it was not raining but she was adamant that they wouldn’t fill the bottle.
   I was taking my empty container back to my car when I asked some locals outside if it is raining.
   NO was their reply the sun is shining.
   Retuning to the store and insisted it was not raining, the cashier contacted an employee who came from out the back of the store, after about 5 minutes, and said they wouldn’t fill gas because it was raining out the back.
   This was total hogwash as I left the store we we had to pass the rear of the store to access our street and there was no rain, just sunshine.
   Treating a 75 year old pensioner in this manner is absolutely despicable and there is no excuse for their behaviour.
   Staff acting in this manner should not be allowed to get away with destroying the otherwise good reputation of Anaconda.
   The two staff members should be terminated for their conduct or at the least severely reprimanded and demoted.
