  1. Went to red rooster in Victoria Park Western Australia today. The food was served cold and they have closed the public toilet and put a rubbish bin in front of toilet door and taken down the toilet sign. Is this going to be the normal at all stores run by Indians. Had to repeat my order 4 times before they understood what I was ordering. Won’t be back to that store again

  2. I just left this review on a travel site re Queanbeyan store, RR at head office take note:
“Haven’t been there for a few years, but I must say that the state of restaurant had really declined and was gross. The chairs & seat cushions were grubby, walls need a steam clean badly, the male toilet was mediocre but messy – I had to do a bit of a clean up myself (wet paper towels strewn over the sink) the electric hand dryer was broke (no air); flies buzzing around while you try to eat your meal at a table, need I go on. Floors had some dropped food
TV on the wall wasn’t on or not working (like it was years ago). The place needs total refurbishment or a makeover. Order took a while as it appeared that drive thur’s get priority …which gets under my skin.
Upside, the food was good, staff nice enough….but I wouldn’t take my family there for a sit-in meal. RR head office need to take a good hard look at this place; I don’t know how hygienic it is behind the counter either”

  3. I am a 71 year old pensioner with mobility issues. I decided to try Red Rooster home delivery as another alternative for food home delivery. I downloaded the app and placed my order for a Trop Pack (upsized) and found I needed to buy another few dollars worth to qualify for home delivery. I ordered a single piece of fried chicken.
To my surprise the order arrived with no piece of fried chicken, so I phoned the Hoxton Park NSW store and made them aware. They said that if I could come to the store they would give me the chicken piece, but my handicap prevents this from happening. They suggested I could get it by phoning when I next placed an order so it could be added to that order.
I done exactly that ……. I got the piece of fried chicken but they short supplied a large serving of chips. I phoned and now that want me to place yet another order to get food for which I had already paid.

Is this some new “hold the customer for ransom” marketing strategy? I think to fail in two consecutive orders is very amateurish and not what I had expected from Red Rooster.

  4. I need someone from head office to please call me too discuss kingaroy shops customer service. This the 2nd time I’ve some issues with them in 1 year. Shane 0474 352 386

After a long hard day in hospital, I decided I felt like a Red Rooster roast with the wing. My son and I called into the Queanbeyan branch of Red Rooster and ordered two roast packs with the wing. Upon reaching the payment booth we were told that we could only have one roast pack with a wing and one roast pack with a thigh. I advised the attendant that we wanted two roast packs with the wing. He told us that he could not do that, and I asked why. I asked had they run out of chickens, and he replied, no. I asked what the problem was then, and he replied that he would have to cut up another chicken. I said – well do that. He said he was not prepared to do that. The time was around 6.00pm. Image going into a dress shop to buy a red dress and being told you can only buy a blue dress. The most ridiculous part of this incident was that I could have drove around through drive-through a second time and ordered a separate roast with the wing. If a meal is on the menu, then I expect that a company should be able to provide that meal unless there is mitigating circumstances. I do not expect a retail organisation to tell me what I can have for dinner when I am the paying customer. I expect to hear from a representative from Red Rooster. The incident occurred on 5th May 2025 at around 6.00pm.
