HI, I am just informing you of why Woolworth’s is now not my place to shop at, for the same reason I do not bank at the commonwealth bank.
I found out quite a while back what firstly, what Coles was up to, SO by/by birdy, then a few months later what YOU guys were up to, AND IT HAS NOT CHANGED, a packet of Arnett’s Jatz were $3.00, then they were $6.00 but on special for $3.00 now this is not Australian and is very/very manipulative, so I am saying to you by/by birdy, and you will NOT get me back, I believe highly paid management, IS NOT COSHA and greed is destructive. so, I will shop at locally owned businesses.

Also, I forgot, I brought a tin of “Nescafé” coffee, a month ago, on “special” for $15.00, so the tag read, on receipt $23.00, and you wonder why we leave you !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woolworths at Winston Hills continues at the express lane where the cigarette counter is to have people line up down the drink aisle. Some customers push in front even though they have been there before. They pretend that they don’t know whats going on but they do. The staff don’t tell
anybody to line up for fear of being verbally abused. SOLUTION PUT SIGNS UP OR BOLLARDS BUT WOOLWORTHS DONT GET BACK TO ME ANYWAY. I SPOKE TO CHRIS THE SATURDAY MANAGER , HE DIDN’T UNDESTAND ANYTHING, HE SAID ” WE DONT KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE COMING THROUGH THE STORE AND THE STAFF WILL TELL PEOPLE NOT TO QUEUE JUMP. ” THIS DOESN’T HAPPEN. I SPEAK TO THE MANAGERS QUITE FREQUENTLY BUT NOTHING HAPPENS TO CHANGE THIS. SIMPLE SOLUTION FOR AN OUTCOME THAT FOR SOME REASON WOOLWORTHS WON’T DO. TIME TO STOP SHOPPING AT THIS WOOLWORTHS.
I a few countries they are now putting in a slow checkout for the sake of the elderly ….Where People who are on their own can use this checkout and have a wonderful checkout person to have a chat while checking out . Reason being is that SO MANY elderly people are alone and a lot of times the only person they get to talk to is the checkout operator .the eldery find the auto self-service very confusing .In Werribee Woolworths there was an amazing man Named David who was excellent with the elderly customers. Then he was taken away and put packing shelves …whereas a lot will not go there now. People like this have amazing customer service with a smile and warmth …. This is missing from today’s world … How about WOOLWORTHS bring this back … It will not cut your profits just make each WOOLWORTHS a nicer place to shop for the Elderly ….Remember this YOU will be old too one day then you will think back and remember how wonderful it would be to just have a friendly hello at the Supermarket ….. Thank You for reading this . Petina Kosewski.
