  1. I would appreciate talking to a human re problems with my last two online orders. Second last online order delivery a few weeks back accepted delivery was between 2-3 pm. Delivery arrived 7 pm! Until approx 11 pm I kept receiving repeat messages that my order will arrive in x mins (NB the order had been delivered). I could not talk to anyone at the time as there was no opportunity offered, quoting order number to cancel more than one delivery did not stop the messages. I was fearful with repeat messages saying goods were still to be delivered I might be asleep if there was more than one delivery. I am 89 years old and was concerned my original order might be delivered more than once so I sat up fully dressed until 11 am when via track my order I said to cancel the order = messages.

    On 10/8/24 Order #214698109 with accepted delivery again between 2-3 pm. The items still had not arrived once again by four hours later (7 pm) and I tried over 53 mins to find out the current time frame and my despite efforts I could not solve the issue and perhaps my fault the delivery at about (unsure of exact time) 11 pm was cancelled – not intentionally by me. I still wanted my order processed and even if later than agreed but at a reasonable hour. I did not want to cancel the order but after 7 pm wanted to know EXPECTED delivery time as I did not want to repeat the earlier order re delivery time with me sitting up until 11 pm. Then added to my frustration I received a message from Woolworths apologising for the “ technical challenges” Woolworths were expecting and advising my order has now cancelled and a refund will be forthcoming. One message from WW stated there was a “problem with payment, but my credit card showed the correct debit of 156.63. Part of the order included my neighbour’s requests. To add to the mystery a Woolworths delivery truck was seen in my village courtyard, outside my unit, early yesterday morning so the “technical challenges” must have been solved. It may be my ignorance/inexperience when questioning when delivery MIGHT be delivered that somehow our lines got crossed. I did want delivery, STILL DO, but it would have to be tomorrow, Tuesday, 13th August, with a fairly accurate time. No other day this week is suitable to me.

    I have been a happy Woolworths customer as long as I can remember. Today I opened a Coles account!!!

  2. I am still waiting for my refund of $140 for a delivery that was cancelled by woolworths
    owing to the cyclone Alfred on 7th March, 2025. I am 82 cannot get to the store and now
    I don’t have the money to buy goods. Was this some kind of scam???
